Maverick Productions was contracted for this exciting live event video production in the Boston area to document a special night at UMass Lowell with media executive, actress, talk show host and entrepreneur Oprah Winfrey. We worked with the university on all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production. Our mission was to capture the electricity of the day without any disruption to the event. We planned extensively and set up multiple cameras in strategic locations so we could stay one step ahead.
As part of this live event video production project in the Boston area, We provided two (2) deliverables to UMass Lowell. The first was a media b-roll package that was edited on site and uploaded within an hour after the presentation ended. This b-roll was sent to and used by local and national media outlets around the country. The second video was to create a high energy hype reel that captured the energy, excitement and star power of Oprah. We wanted all of the students and staff to be proud UMass Lowell and its massive fundraising effort.
